Overview
Gramercy Property Group is a privately held real estate investment and development firm, founded in 2006 by Jon Goldberg. Gramercy specializes in re-developing and re-positioning retail and mixed-use properties. GPG currently owns or co-owns 12 commercial properties comprising approximately 1.5 million square feet in eight states. We create desirable communities for our tenants and long-term value for our investors by focusing on well located properties with stable occupancy and cash flow characteristics. We utilize appropriate levels of financing and lock in 10-year fixed rate debt in order to pay our investors above average yields each quarter.
Jon Goldberg
Jon Goldberg has invested over $1 billion (equity) in dozens of assets throughout the U.S., including several commercial buildings in Manhattan. Through two firms he co-founded, Gramercy Property Group (2005) and Turtle Bay Partners (2013), Jon has acquired $150 million of income producing properties in the eastern half of the US. Prior to 2005, Mr. Goldberg ran Artery Capital Group, the investment arm of The Artery Group, a diversified real estate developer headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland. Mr. Goldberg started investing in real estate as a principal for Goldman Sachs/Whitehall Funds and later for Credit Suisse First Boston Principal Transactions Group. Mr. Goldberg has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s from Tufts University.
